Bordalo II (Artur Bordalo, born 1987) is a Portuguese contemporary street artist whose work transforms discarded industrial and household waste into large-scale animal sculptures installed in public spaces worldwide.

His practice combines street art, sculpture, and environmental activism, using materials such as plastic, metal, tires, and electronic waste to construct “trash animals” that highlight overconsumption, pollution, and biodiversity loss.

Best known for his Big Trash Animals series, Bordalo II reimagines urban debris as vibrant wildlife portraits, often installed on building facades or industrial sites, turning the city itself into both material source and exhibition space.

His work is widely associated with the global eco-art movement and is present across Europe, North America, and Asia.
